When you smoke, the eye react to the weed ( cannabis,
smokes and nicotine) the eye redness is part of the react, this is called
allergic reaction.
The redness of the eye is an allergic reaction of
your body to cannabis, tobacco or even smokes, when you smoke, any of this your
body sees it as poison and it react to
it,
These substance are called allergens, they are not
poisons on their own but our body see them as poison and it react by the reddening
of the eye.

Smoking can also cause dry eyes, an eye with
inadequate tears that can lubricate it, a dry eye is characterized by itching,
burning and redness, due to friction as
a result of inadequate supply of tears to moistens and lubricate the eye. A small friction can cause tearing a break of
the eye blood vessels causing bloodshot or bleeding in the eye.
Exposure of smoke can cause dangers to the eye, if
you ever used firewood to cook, you will understand what I am sang, the burning, stinging and itching
you will in your eye, when the smoke got into your eye, smoke is very dangerous
to the eye and the body,
Apart from the above there are other health problems
that smoking weeds can cause like, bronchitis, chest pains, lung cancer, heart failure, arrhythmias, heart attack etc. It can cause Peripheral Arterial Disease, a disease
that causes plaques to block blood vessels that lead blood to other part of the
body.
It is advisable to avoid or to limit smoking because
it will not only cause eye redness but can also cause vision loss and
blindness, cataracts and macular degeneration
