using the computer in the dark has a serious effect
on the eye ,
when you are
focusing on the computer , the light coming from the computer is bright , your
pupil will move backward so that little
light will enter your eye, when we see object we see the light that enters our
eye, therefore your eye pupil will remain in this position until you change the
your vision direction .
By the time
you look away and focus on any other object
the eye ( looking at your surrounding which is dark at this time) the pupil
become larger to allow much light to enter so that you that you can see,
Therefore
anytime you look at the computer screen and look away from it in the dark room
your eye pupil have constantly become
smaller an and larger, or in other words
move forward and backward continuously ,this movement will affect your eye, you
know your eye have very tiny blood vessels and muscles and nerve, they are very
delicate and tiny, due to this constant continuous movement they become tired
and are exhausted , and this will eventually cause eye strain.
What is the solution, the best solution is to stay far away from the
screen , though this may not be possible with the computer screen especially if
you are trying to accomplish some tax,
however you can reduce the computer brightness to the minimal so that the contrast
between your screen and the environment will not be much, you can alternately light the room so as to
reduce the contrast between you , your computer and the your surroundings, the
best solution is to avoid using the computer in the dark ,unless it is
necessary
